FACILITIES

Glenlogan Park provides an ideal environment and seasonal conditions for excellent breeding results. Winter warmth and an early spring ensure that only the best foals come from the paddocks of Glenlogan Park.

Some of Glenlogan Park’s facilities are listed below.

Glenlogan Park is ideally situated to take advantage of the beautiful Queensland winters and is set in amongst the Hinterland of the Gold Coast on some of the most fertile land in the state. The property consists of large paddocks, rolling hills and lush river flats. It is one of the most picturesque properties in the country with wonderful views towards the nearby mountains of Mt Lindsay and Mt Barney and has built a long and established record of producing racehorses to the highest level.

Mobile Vet Crush – Undoubtedly the most exciting addition to the farm in recent years has been the introduction of our world first mobile crush. Designed and constructed wholly at Glenlogan Park, this crush system has allowed breeders a peace of mind previously unattainable at any other farm. Each crush is fitted with a set of scales and this weight is recorded at regular intervals. It also enables us to restrict movements of mares and foals on a daily basis and has resulted in mares being much more settled, facing far less pressure and stress and drastically reduces foal exposure to injury and disease. This crush is state of the art and a wonderful addition.

Parade Area – The parade area at Glenlogan Park is situated under the cover of an absolutely magnificent Moreton Bay Fig. The area consists of a lawn area with a manicured hedge as its back drop for taking photos of the horses parading. A grandstand area has also been erected under the shade of the tree for the comfort of visiting groups.          Quarantine – The only AQIS registered and approved quarantine facility in Queensland is located at Glenlogan Park. The facility includes stables and special paddocks for mares and foals managed by professionally trained grooms.  The facility is available to all horses requiring a quarantine period after importation from overseas.
